Achieve Work-Life Balance…
Trying harder is not going to make this any better. You will be better off if you decide these are things I will do at home and at work.
You will not compromise on these matters so be realistic and set 3 work-related goals and 3 home-related goals. Your sense of accomplishment will give you more joy and peace at work.
Don’t Let Your Financial Woes Drive You Crazy…
Are you always in financial distress because you don’t have a plan? Unfortunately that’s the way most people are. Are your spending habits driven by “needs” or “wants”?
The key to overcoming your never-ending financial crisis is to improve your relationship with money through positive and healthy beliefs, actions, and choices. Once you create a supportive money relationship, you will no longer stay in jobs that zap your energy. The beautiful thing about having a solid financial plan is you have one less thing that distracts you from being you.
But I Don’t Know How To Do That…
We’re all afraid of the unknown. Do we really have the capacity to do things we’ve never done before or are we destined to blame on our fears?
This is a tough choice, but if you have confidence you can find answers very easily. Have you ever been on YouTube looking for answers? It’s virtually impossible to not find an answer to your questions.
You will laugh when you begin discovering talents you have and you were afraid to use. Fear is your enemy and don’t let it beat you.
I Demand Respect
This seems like an insurmountable leap of faith especially if you have little or no respect to begin with, right?
You won’t gain your co-workers respect overnight, but you can begin step by step positioning yourself as a valuable and indispensable member of the team.
For example, let’s say your boss is going to be involved in a big meeting in a month. Find ways to help him get organized and ready well in advance. This takes the pressure off of both of you and you start gaining his respect.
Do a little homework before you go into any meeting. You may have some great insight how to do things. At the very least, people will start to recognize you have some great ideas.
Turn your sour lemons into a sweet drink and don’t make excuses for your actions. Be positive and always look to help improve any situation you are in.
